Medal Of Honor: Warfighter mini review

After seeing all the bad reviews of this game from other sites I was very reluctant to buy it................all I can say is ; I wish I had bought it sooner. A friend convinced me to pick this one up, I had a quick look around for the best price. I only paid £10 for it (£12 including the online pass that I bought on ebay) but I would have paid full price if I knew I would have so much fun. I'm not the biggest fan of First person shooters but this one has me hooked.

The single player, so far, hasn't blown me away. But everyone knows that military FPS games are all about online play. Still, the single played mode is playable and will keep you entertained for a short while. It seems to have a longer campaign that call of duty but still not very long. But like I said, the online multiplayer is amazing!

I honestly cannot say that I have had this much fun with a game online since battlefield bad company 2. One thing that really stands out is the use of the frostbite 2 engine. The visuals are absolutely stunning on PS3, I don't know how they look on xbox but I assume that the pc version of the game looks even better.  I used to love the old Medal of Honor games, I even really liked the 2010 reboot. The only problem I really had with the reboot was that, along with nearly every other modern FPS, it was set in modern times. I really miss ww2 in games. I really hope that in the future they return to ww2, but for now I am quite happy playing a modern shooter as long as it is Medal of Honor Warfighter.

Overall Score : 8/10

Again, thanks for reading and don't forget to share this blog with your friends :)
